@Norahtksa It’s an electric beater to beat the eggs with the sugar and the vanilla, but you can do it by hand with a whisk

  2. Norahtksa says:

  6. DeathlyHallows391 says:

Looks good! But I don’t understand, is the middle of the cake fully raw then? Are you supposed to eat raw batter mix??

  7. dillagi1dillagi says:

It was the easiest recipe, and of course it was perfect. Everyone should try this. My guests felt like they are eating this in a gourmet restaurant.

  9. eden260397 says:

do i have to put butter?

  10. yellowsaffron says:

@cinnamonbuntail It’s all-purpose flour. Muffin tins should be fine, but be careful when turning them out.

  11. cinnamonbuntail says:

wat kind of flour should u use? cake flour or all purpose flour? thanks. also, can i use muffin tins instead of individual tins?

  12. yellowsaffron says:

    @jessamay9180 Of course not!

  13. jessamay9180 says:

is it bad if I don’t use vanilla?

  14. sugarmom0710 says:

  15. MissTongCY says:

    how big is the tin?

  16. kape625 says:

Correction…baking powder is used in cakes

  17. kape625 says:

@hexpigge this recipe does not need a leavening agent as it gets is volume from the beaten eggs. However, generally speaking baking soda is used in cakes. Baking soda lacks the acidity to make a cake rise. Baking power is bicarbonate(baking soda) with cream of tartar added for acidity. Baking powder also has the advantage of being neutral tasting. Baking soda is generally used in cookies & biscuits

  18. Hexpigge says:

If anyone could answer, which of these ingredients produces CO2 for rising? Because there is no baking powder or baking soda, I’d like to bake something a bit different so I’d like to know :].
